I really have tried to write this blog several times over the weekend and just didn't know where to begin with it. I have stated before that my uncle's mother(MaryAnn) found out that she had lung and brain cancer. There is nothing the doctors can do at this point but make her as comfortable as possible. All this has happened in the past month. They just found this out ONE month ago and now it looks to be a matter of weeks or days left for her. She is apparently in severe pain at this point. My mother and I were suppose to go see her thursday and my aunt asked us not to go b/c she is just too bad at this point. My heart breaks for them. It breaks for MaryAnn because she knows she doesn't have much time left but she wanted to be here in October for her 30th anniversary to her hubby. It breaks for my aunt and uncle and my cousins who have had this person in their lives and who will miss her terribly. It breaks b/c they have already lost someone they terribly love and miss because of this horrible cancer. It breaks the most for the husband that has stood by her side for almost 30 years and has been his best friend and wife and now she will be gone.
Death is suppose to be a natural part of life and yes I know it is but it doesn't make it any easier for the people left behind missing their loved one. We have been praying for some of Maryann's pain to be eased and for everyone that has loved her for so long to get to be with her.

Hi. First time here. One of my best friends is going through a similar scenario right now, and it's really hard. She's in our small group (7 couples) from church that we've been meeting with every Sunday night for 7 years. My heart goes out to you as you work through this.
I'm soo soo sorry for what is going on! It is such a hard thing to deal with, especially when there is nothing you can do to help!
Many hugs to you and your family!
Sonya
