Our Magical Elf

Meet Snowflake: Our Magical Elf
Apparently when a certain little boy in my family wrote Santa an email for a magical elf, Santa made sure to grant that request and this little guy showed up, magically, the next morning.
Except he showed up in the bathroom and it must have been a really long trip because then he jumped off the bathroom lights and fell to the floor. We think he had to potty. We were all worried though because Santa said, "you can't touch the elf or he will lose his magic!"
What to do??? Well, our daddy (he's a superhero you know?!) he put on a pair of gloves and put him back up. He said he didn't touch him with the gloves on so his magic is still in tack. Whew!
What a rough morning the little guy had on his first day of his new job!
Oh what is his job you ask?
To make sure the children in the house are behaving! So, each night he goes to visit Santa and reports on how the children have been acting. Naughty or Nice. I guess we will see come Christmas morning what the elf reported!
Oh and what is his name you ask?
Snowflake and he says only 10 more sleeps left till Santa comes.

Did your kids ask for a magical elf too? And where do you seem to find him each morning? And what is your elf's name?

I have friends who have elves and each year I think I need to get one but I just never seem to remember. Maybe next year.

Yep Jingles has been hanging out here every December for the last few years! He will leave a treat for them in the morning if they have been good, although his first morning he didn't leave them anything cause they were naughty:) it still works on the 8yr old also!!

just do NOT forget to move him and leave a treat or you may be doing some scrambling the next morning and figuring out a way to pull one over on the kids-say like hide the candy in the drawer with the toothbrushes when no one is looking cause he wanted to be sure they brushed that day ;)

My girls each have an elf (we have "Magic Elves", though, not an "Elf on the Shelf")... their names are Sandy and Sophie. The girls are able to play with the elves (dolls) and go to sleep each night with them. Sometimes the elves get up in the middle of the night and get into mischief... they like to hide in the fridge (it's cold in there, just like the North Pole!)
