Update on our prayer requests

We are still in need of lots of prayer for our family and friends right now.

My best friend Amber's dad is doing great after his heart surgery a week ago. He is home and recovering very well. He is still in need of prayer for his strength but Praise God he is doing this well so soon after!

Amber's father-in-law goes into surgery thursday for heart bypass. They sent him home last thursday to give him a week for his blood to ummm I guess thicken. They put him on blood thinners for his angiogram(i think that's what it was called) to see what kind of surgery he needed. Now, they have to wait to do the surgery b/c of the blood thinners. We are praying for the surgery to go smoothly as possible with no complications and that afterwards he heals quickly as possible. Please pray for God to protect his heart throughout all of it. Also, please pray for Amber and her husband Jason because they are both exhausted, between her father and his, they have been running ragged and need strength through this all. I know they haven't seen much of each other either and she stated this morning that she misses her husband. I know this is minor prayer request but a needed one regardless.

Now, about my uncle's mother. The prgonosis is not good at all. They have run test and discovered that she has lung and brain cancer. She is refusing any kind of treatment and it's really to far for any anyways. They are going to do radiation for pain management but not for any "cure". She is in severe pain right now and taking morphine on a constant basis. She was suppose to go home yesterday but now they are waiting to do the radiation before letting her go home. The doctors have told the family that right now all they can do is make her as comfortable as possible. Our family is devestated. It breaks my heart to see my aunt and uncle go through this all over agian, to not be able to do anything but watch them suffer. She is determined to live until October for her and her husbands wedding anniversary but it will be a very painful time.
To be honest I don't know what I am asking for in the terms of prayer. I think we are just praying for her to be as comfortable and peaceful as possible. This is so incredibly hard for everyone involved so please just keep the entire family in your prayers.
